Haslett Happenings
November 6, 2024
From the Desk of Superintendent Malley
Dear Haslett Community,
As I reflect on my first four months as your Superintendent, I am truly overwhelmed by the warm welcome and the strong sense of community that defines Haslett Public Schools. Through various meetings and informal connections at local events, I’ve witnessed firsthand the incredible dedication of our staff and the deep commitment of our community to our students’ success.
I’ve been especially impressed by the passion and dedication of our teachers, who are deeply committed to fostering a nurturing and challenging environment for our students. Likewise, our students continuously showcase their potential, achieving remarkable feats, which is a testament to the strong support from their families and the community.
In our conversations, many of you have highlighted the importance of student safety and security, as well as clear and transparent communication. Please know that we are committed to continuously evaluating our safety plans to ensure the physical and mental well-being of our students. We are also dedicated to enhancing our communication efforts to keep you well-informed and engaged.
I’ve learned a great deal from my conversations with many of you. Now, I want to broaden that input to include everyone in our community. If you haven’t been able to already, I invite you to share your insights through an open-ended survey platform called ThoughtExchange. Details are provided below. Your perspectives on our district’s strengths and challenges will help us continue to grow and improve.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in making Haslett Public Schools a wonderful place to learn and grow.
Sincerely,
Patrick Malley
