However, please attend when you can any time during the hours from 4-7 pm.
To enter the building we ask you to use the doors (8 and 11) near the media center, door (40) by auditorium or the main entrance (2). We look forward to meeting with you!

Capturing Kids' Hearts
This month, we’re challenging students to envision future goals and take intentional steps toward who they want to be. We are partnering with you to grow and develop your child’s ability to self-direct. We can model self-direction by celebrating the positive in each day, seeking the good in others, and emphasizing our responsibility to make positive choices.

With cold and flu season approaching, please see the following PDF for some some guidelines of when to keep your child at home. Let's all work together to keep students/staff healthy and keep germs to a minimum.

The counseling department has been enjoying getting to see our old students & getting to know our new students over the past month! We are really focusing on creating opportunities to have face to face time with every student in our grade level this year :) Please reach out to us anytime if your student has needs or questions in the areas of: social, emotional, academic, behavior, organization, college, career, or anything else!!
★ 6th Grade:
6th Grade individual Student Minute Meetings have started during Advisory! Mrs. Skover has enjoyed meeting the awesome 6th grade group thus far!
6th grade students are starting to feel overwhelmed with all of the assignments to complete. This is the time to start new school habits and organization systems. Please reach out if your student needs help with their Powerschool login and password to check for missing assignments.
★ 7th Grade
It’s hard to believe we just finished our 5th week of school!
On Tuesday, October 8th, I’ll be starting “Minute Meetings” with each 7th grader. Not only is this a quick check in but it allows me the opportunity to intentionally interact with each student and vice versa.
If you haven’t already, have your child show you their grades in Powerschool or their assignments on Schoology as a conversation starter for what they are learning in school.
★ 8th Grade
Our 8th grade students are in full swing into the school year. We have started our minute meetings to talk about goals and making sure that all of our 8th grade students have a “person” in the building they can go to. That person can be any adult who the student feels comfortable talking to.
Please encourage your 8th grade student to advocate for themselves and to check their grades weekly. As we prepare for the 9th grade academy we want all of our students to be independent learners who can be responsible for their own learning. Have your child show you their grades on Powerschool or their assignments on Schoology as a conversation starter for what they are learning in school.
