Dear KDM Community,
As we hit the 100th day of school marker, I want to commend our students, family, teachers, and staff for partnering together to create an engaging and welcoming learning environment. We have a lot to look forward to as Spring inches forward.
The KDM PTA will host Family Reading Night on March 6th and our TREP$ Entrepreneurs will hold their Marketplace event on March 7th. Please mark your calendars, as these are great family-friendly events that celebrate our students and teachers.
Keep an eye out for the Afterschool Clubs Flyer that will go home next week. Signups will open on February 21st. Please remember that school is closed on Monday in honor of Presidents Day.
I hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend!
Warm Regards,
Brian Rawlins
Principal

Building Our Community
The 100th Day of School was an absolute blast in kindergarten! We celebrated by counting to 100 in all sorts of fun ways—by 1's, 5's, and 10's! The classrooms were buzzing with excitement as we counted together, and everyone was so proud when we reached our big milestone. We even made creative 100th day projects to mark the occasion. It was a day full of learning, laughter, and celebration—a perfect way to show just how far we've come in our first 100 days of school! --The Kindergarten Team
The First Graders had a great time celebrating the 100th Day!
Congratulations to our KDM Spelling Bee representatives that were honored along with all participants from the district at the February 12th Board of Education meeting: Isabel C., Asha P., Srinika K., and Eloise S.
