Congratulations to our Lady Wildcat Basketball team, once again making us proud and making history on becoming the first ever DISTRICT CHAMPIONS at Sotomayor! Our Wildcats secured the title by beating the Harlan Hawks, 64-53!! Way to go Wildcats!

Congratulations to our Sotomayor cheer team! These ladies won the first ever NCA National Championship Title for our school!! Countless hours of hard work on weekdays, weekends, early mornings and late nights, their hard work paid off as they left it all on the mat!! Congratulations ladies on making history!

Kudos to our Cyber Team who took time out of their day to volunteer at Kallison Elementary. Our Wildcats introduced the students to basic coding through the use of music and electricity!! Thank you for representing Sotomayor and leaving a positive impression on future Wildcats and their families!!

Congratulations to our Wildcat Swim team!! Our Wildcats did an amazing job of representing Sotomayor at the District Swim meet!! We will have several athletes representing Sotomayor at the Regional Swim meet!! Also congratulations to our own Coach Jared Kaminiski for being named Coach of the Meet!! On January 15th our Wildcats had the opportunity to explore their class elective options for next year!! Thank you to all of our students and teachers for participating in this years elective fair.

Parents and guardians, please take note of the district marking period end dates and eligibility dates for the Fall semester. If your student is not meeting satisfactory requirements in their classes, these dates could potentially impact your student's participation in UIL sanctioned events.

Dual Credit allows you the opportunity to earn college credit while completing your high school courses simultaneously.
