Gonic Weekly Update to Families
February 14, 2025
Brief Message From the Principal
Thank you all for your feedback regarding the new newsletter format. You all spoke loudly and clearly that you like this style better. Next week is the last week before February break so I would really appreciate it if mother nature would allow for a full week of school!
Below you will find information about our spirit week which is taking place next week. This spirit week is designed by the career tech center and is taking place district wide.
Have a great weekend!
😎 Great Moments from the Week

🏥 Update from Nurse Senter
February is National Children’s Dental Month
The American Dental Association encourages everyone to brush their teeth for 2 minutes twice a day everyday – “2 min 2X”.
This is important for children as well as adults. A child’s primary teeth or “baby teeth” need to be cared for as much as “adult teeth”. Primary teeth help children to chew and speak properly. Primary teeth hold space in the jaw for the permanent teeth which are growing under the gums.
Children should see their dentist regularly. The dentist will check for decay and other problems. The dentist will also show them how to clean their teeth properly and how to floss.
Early, good dental habits will lead to a lifetime of dental health.
For more information, see the American Dental Association web site at www.ada.org or www.2min2x.org
Happy Brushing!!
