A great tool to get to know over the summer, Goblin Tools is a website that has multiple tools and features wrapped up into one site. Magic To Do is a great tool that will break down any task. For example, type in "write a persuasive essay" and Magic To Do will break that task down into micro tasks for a student or teacher to accomplish and keep them on task. Other tools include a FOrmalizer to reword sentences or thoughts, a judge to read tone, and on and on. Goblin Tools has tons of features in one practical location. Writing is a huge focus, I don't need to tell any teachers that. But no matter how many times we allow students the opportunity to write the most crucial portion of receiving feedback and the opportunity for reflection is never enough. Enter Class Companion. Class Companion is a great AI tool designed to improve student engagement and outcomes using instant coaching and AI feedback. Before they even turn in draft 1 think of the benefit of having low-stakes, unlimited practice designed to highlight bright spots in their writing and areas they can work on. And it's free. Do you use stations? Do you wish you could display, time, and automate all your stations? Teacher Stack is a great tool that allows teachers to create groups and display who should be in them, assign tasks, how long for each station, and the order of stations. Then simply click and go, Teacher Stack takes care of the rest. It keeps track of time, displays who should be where and what they should be doing, and then moves on a rolling timer and display to keep students on track. No more resetting timers, making loud announcements, or displaying new groups and locations. Teachers are free to stay engaged with the class.
