Classroom Christmas parties will be held on Thursday, Dec 21st. Your child's classroom teachers will be sending home information specific to each class's party.

An "Event Ticket" will be sent home with all students. Visitors are encouraged to bring this ticket on the day of the party for an expedited entry into the building. Visitors who do not have the ticket will need to stand in line and sign in at the front desk with a picture ID. Please be polite to the ladies in the office who will be doing their best to accommodate the mass waves of visitors in a safe and timely manner!

Students checked out before 9:00 AM will be counted absent for the day.

Our 2nd grade students will be performing on Tuesday, Dec. 12th! See the invitations below for times!

On December 21, the cafeteria will be serving:

-lunchable OR cheese pizza

-veggie, fruit, juice & milk

In case you want a head-start on planning for the 12 Days of Christmas, see the calendar below!

Remind your kiddos that students who have no more than 1 absence or 1 tardy for the 3rd six-weeks will earn a snowball fight and S'mores snack!

SGE's ADA for this past week was 94.45%.

ADA stands for Average Daily Attendance and is defined as the total days of student attendance divided by the total days of instruction. "98 IS Great!", so 98% is our goal!

An important piece in the family-school partnership is staying aware of student performance. It is requested that parents view and electronically sign progress reports and report cards. See the directions below, and be sure to get those signatures in! In addition, parents are encouraged to regularly view grades in Skyward.

Submit an email on the same day as the transportation change request by 1:30 p.m. to sge-transportation@burnetcisd.net

Include the following details in the email:

• Student’s full name
• Student’s grade level
• Student’s homeroom teacher
• The transportation change you want made for today (bus rider to car rider or car rider to bus rider)

Requests made after 1:30pm will not be processed. Notes, phone calls, text messages and emails sent to any other email will not be processed.
