Dear Aviator Families,
Thanksgiving Week has arrived! I look forward to seeing your students SOARing on the bus, in their classrooms, out at recess, in the cafeteria and throughout the hallways these next two days.
I continue to be thankful that I get to be a part of this amazing community. I hope you and your families have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Duke Elementary.

SMCPS All-County Chorus Performance
A huge shout-out to our Aviator singers who performed magnificently and represented our school so well last Tuesday evening at the All-County Chorus Performance!
CWFDES Singers: Adeline Aina, Norah Dyson, Henry Hines, Greta Isom, Cade Kuta and Marina Melrose
Kudos to our chorus teacher, Dr. Alvey! She not only supported our students in preparing for the concert, she also joined the performance with our students. Thank you for teaching and encouraging our students on their musical journeys!

LOST AND FOUND
Please be sure to label your students' belongings (lunch boxes, hoodies, coats, water bottles, etc.) so that they can be easily found and claimed.
Our Lost & Found is bursting at the seems. Please take a look at these pictures and encourage your students to check for any belongings they may have misplaced or left on the playground. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity in January.

Within the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is the Google Workspace for Education Additional Services Agreement. In order for students to have access to "additional services," the form granting your student access must be completed.
Breakfast costs $1.75; lunch costs $3.00.
Your student may qualify for free or reduced-price meals.
