Racquel Goodison
Racquel Goodison has been a resident at Yaddo and Saltonstall. She is a recipient of the Astraea Emerging Lesbian Writer’s Grant as well as a scholarship to the Fine Arts Works Center. Her writing has been nominated for the Pushcart and been a finalist for a Glimmer Train Fiction Open.
Brook Stephenson
Brook Stephenson conjures magic through storytelling. He's written for The Crisis, Uptown Magazine, the source and others. An inaugural staff member of Rolling Outurbanstyle weekly in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998 he was the establishing manager of rolling out New York City in 2001. He was an artist-in-residence at Chanorth in 2010 and a collaborator on Arteries of a Nation which received a Brooklyn Arts Council grant in 2012. He's currently polishing up his first novel The Maturation of Moses Jones. For more about him go to www.brookstephenson.com
Artress Bethany White
Artress Bethany White received her M.A. in Creative Writing from New York University and a Ph.D. in English from the University of Kentucky. She is Associate Professor of English at Carson-Newman University. Her poetry has recently appeared in Black Renaissance Noire and Harvard Review. She is the author of Fast Fat Girls in Pink Hot Pants (Aldabra Press, 2012).
