Meet Our New Patton Counseling Team:
Olga Neverovith
My name is Olga Neverovitch, and I am thrilled to join the wonderful team here at Patton Elementary as one of your school counselors. It is truly an honor to be a part of this wonderful school community.
I have a decade of experience in education, the majority of which was spent in Del Valle ISD as a middle school science teacher and department chair. I've had the privilege of working with students from various backgrounds and grade levels. I also have experience teaching life skills/structured learning, special education, gifted and talented, and emergent bilingual students.
Beyond my public education journey, I also hold a certification as a registered yoga teacher. I firmly believe in the power of mindfulness and relaxation techniques to support students' emotional well-being, and I look forward to incorporating these practices into our counseling sessions.
When I'm not at school, you can often find me enjoying the great outdoors. Whether it's tending to my garden, embarking on hiking adventures, or volunteering at the food forest, I relish any opportunity to connect with nature and give back to the community.
My mission is to create a safe and inclusive space where students can express themselves, overcome challenges, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I am here to lend a listening ear, offer guidance, and celebrate the unique strengths and achievements of each and every student.
Kristin Aeschlimann
Kristin Aeschlimann brings a wealth of experience, including 9 years as a school counselor and 5 years with Region 13 ESC. She loves to travel both abroad and in the states in her campervan. After subbing as a counselor at Patton a few times in the last 2 years, she’s excited to join the team for real this year!
Amy Bassett-Wells
I'm so excited to join the Patton community and work with your child this year.
A little about me-- I've been working with children and families in public education in many different forms since graduating as an educator from UT Austin in 2002. I've been a teacher, an Early Childhood Specialist, an Instructional Coach, and a School Counselor. I received my M.Ed in School Counseling in 2015. Encouraging and motivating children to reach their maximum potential has truly been my life's passion.
I am a native Austinite-- and I'm very lucky to still have my extended family here as well. I have a daughter starting her sophomore year at OU (yes, we are a house divided!) and a son who will be a junior at Bowie. We enjoy spending time taking walks with our dog Bodhi, when he isn't too busy stealing our socks.
I had the privilege to support early childhood teachers at Patton many moons ago and it was always one of my favorite campuses. I'm looking forward to being a part of this supportive and inclusive community, as I have heard that Patton's dedication to the emotional and social growth of ALL children makes it a very special place.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate in contacting me. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and your child!
How Will I Know Who My Child's Teacher Is?
We're excited for you to meet your child's teacher! You will receive an email from your child's teacher introducing themselves on the evening of August 9, 2023. This email will come in preparation for Meet the Teacher which will take place on August 10, 2023; Last Names A-L 4:30-5:15; Last Names M-Z 5:30-6:15.
If for some reason you have not received an email from your child's new teacher by 11:00am on August 10th (the day of Meet the Teacher), then please contact patton@austinisd.org and our front office staff will assist you.

There are still a few of you who need to register. Or, if you've already registered your child, you can save this to help new neighbors moving into the Patton area.

Help Wanted:
We have learned that our Lost and Found grows in a fast and furious sort of way. We are hoping to have an organization system similar to the one pictured here. Any woodworkers out there that might be able to help us out with constructing one of these for our Pioneers' lost, but hoping to be found items?! Please reach out to Tracy Graham at tracy.graham@austinisd.org if you're able to help!
