Thank you Capstone Home Loans!
A giant shout out to our community partner Capstone Home Loans for its $7,647 donation to the district’s Kids’ Café summer feeding program!
Last summer, our Kids’ Café summer feeding program served 11,860 breakfasts and 13,607 lunches (for a total of 25,467 meals) to young people from our community. Since 2010 when Kids’ Café launched, more than 200,000 meals have been served to Snohomish young people. We are immensely grateful for the financial support and assistance we receive from community partners such as Capstone!

4th of July reminders
We hope our families and community have a safe and happy Independence Day! As a reminder, fireworks are strictly prohibited on any district property - this includes at our schools, in parking lots and on athletic fields. All district athletic fields and parking lots will be locked from Thursday, July 1 through Monday, July 5. We appreciate your understanding.
Snohomish County has also urged people to exercise care in the days ahead.
- An outdoor burn ban is in place countywide. While fires are allowed in grills and approved enclosures, fire officials advise against it for now.
- Likewise, don’t toss lit cigarette butts into the landscape; don’t park on dry grass; and avoid mowing lawns during the hottest hours of the day.
- Fireworks present a significant risk and are illegal to use in much of the county (find a list of locations here).
- To avoid swamping emergency dispatchers, report fireworks complaints on the county’s non-emergency line at 425-407-3999. If there is an injury, a fire or a police emergency, call 911.
- Stay cool but stay safe. That means wearing a life jacket around local lakes and rivers.
- Outfit your living area with window stops or locks to reduce the risk of children toppling through open windows.
Join our team!
There are a number of open positions within the Snohomish School District including custodians, teachers, nurses, bus drivers and more. To learn more and apply, please visit www.sno.wednet.edu/jobs. We also have openings at the Snohomish Aquatic Center. Join us and spread the word!

Required state immunizations
Every student enrolled/registered in school or child care in the state of Washington must have medically verified immunization records on file with the school in which they are enrolled/registering. Medically verified immunization records include one or more of the following:- A Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS) printed from the Immunization Information System (IIS)
- A physical copy of the CIS form with a healthcare provider signature
- A physical copy of the CIS form with accompanying medical immunization records from a healthcare provider verified and signed by school staff
- A CIS printed from MyIR

- It changes the Tdap immunization requirement to 7th through 12th grades.
