The awesome Walsh staff gave monetary donations or bought gifts for 5 of our Walsh families to give them the best Christmas ever! Thank you, Walsh Staff and thank you to Mrs. Badillo and Mrs. Neal for helping to organize this amazing donation.

This week in STEAM class, all grade levels enjoyed a festive activity inspired by the holiday classic, "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer." Students had a blast using our Sphero robots, which were creatively decorated as reindeer. The goal? Drive the reindeer to gently "knock over" as many grandmas as possible in a playful and engaging game that brought lots of laughter and teamwork.

All Aboard... Mrs. Campagna's class boarded the train in their comfy pajamas and headed to the North Pole on The Polar Express. The children enjoyed hot cocoa, marshmallows, and candy canes. It was a trip they will not forget. Merry Christmas from our class!

We have a new attendance incentive for the month of December. Each Friday, students who have perfect attendance and no tardies for the week are given a ticket to enter a drawing. Three tickets for grades k, 1 and 2 and three tickets for grades 3, 4 and 5 will be drawn on the last school day of the month.

Throughout the month of January SEL lessons will be aligned to our current ELA curriculum at each grade level, Benchmark.

Also, the green Erin's Law form is an OPT OUT. If you sign it that means you DO NOT want your child to participate in the social work presentation.

Positive parenting is very important. Instead of always telling your children what not to do, try to tell them what to do. Also, remember to give praise for good work! You can also reward them for their good deeds; rewards will encourage your children to repeat the good behavior!
