The Weekly Update #4
November 17th, 2024
We Give Thanks
On behalf of the administration, faculty, and staff of St. Mary’s Catholic School, I want to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support and partnership in the education and formation of your child(ren). Together, as partners, we are committed daily to advancing the mission and philosophy of our school.
At St. Mary’s Catholic School, we strive to develop and inspire strong Christian values while fostering academic excellence. Our goal is to provide a quality education in a safe, nurturing, and multicultural environment.
Faith: Love of God
Academics: Love of Learning
Service: Love of Neighbor
Teamwork: Love of Community
An academic foundation rooted in Christian values serves as the cornerstone of a child’s development, shaping their character for a lifetime. Through the lens of Jesus, our children are empowered to achieve anything. Their core values are cultivated to embrace their community, work collaboratively, recognize individual talents, and support one another through challenges. This foundation is essential for each child to reach their highest potential. It provides a framework for finding purpose and making a positive impact on the world.
Our team remains steadfast in our mission to nurture and guide the next generation.
We extend our heartfelt thanks for your ongoing support, which enables us to achieve great things for our students. Your contributions enrich daily school life, from participating in the Fall Festival and student activities to supporting our upcoming Style Show, raffle, silent auction, and School Store, as well as volunteering in various capacities.
Your generous gifts of time, talent, and treasure are a true blessing. May the Lord continue to bless our community, and may His Spirit guide us on our shared journey.
Wishing you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving. May He fill your hearts with grace and love.
Peace and blessings,
Mrs. Ana E. Gomez, M.Ed.
Progress Reports and IXL
Our students have been engaged in an educational tool beginning in K5-6th. IXL is a platform that customizes needs for students and provides teachers with ongoing data to guide instructional practice in the classroom. Below is an informational flyer for parents with instructions on guiding students if they need or wish to utilize at home.
