Congratulations to these students who were chosen as November's Tigers of the Month for exhibiting the Portrait of a Graduate trait, Teachable Learners!

Classroom Winter Parties will be on Friday, December 20th. If you plan on volunteering in your child's classroom, please follow this link to ensure you have a background check on file. Please remember that class parties are for North students and we do not have room to accommodate siblings or other children.

Kindergarten: 2:10-3:10

1st Grade: 1:00-2:00

2nd Grade: 10:10-11:10

3rd Grade: 9:00-10:00

4th Grade: 12:15-1:15

As a district, Ozark elementary schools are utilizing The Zones of Regulation® curriculum (or “The Zones” for short). The Zones of Regulation focuses on self-regulation.

The Red Zone is used to describe an extremely heightened state of alertness. A person may be experiencing anger, rage, explosive behavior, panic, extreme grief, terror, or elation when in the Red Zone and feels a loss of control.

Below is a graphic of tools we use at school to help a child regulate out of the Red Zone. Feel free to use the same tools at home if you notice your child might be in the Red Zone.
