Important Message on Attendance
As we start the new year, please reinforce with kids the importance of attending school. There is no bigger indicator of school success than regular attendance. Since COVID, we have had a sharp increase across the country, including at Perry, with students missing a lot more school. While we will always do what we can to catch kids up, there really is no replacement for being here in the building. Over 18% of the students have missed 10% (8 days+) or more of the school year so far and we usually see attendance worsen in the second half of the year.
We know there are sometimes circumstances that are out of family control, but also just want to reinforce for students and families that coming to school can have a lifelong impact.

Starting Jan 3, 2025, the old www.worthington-portal.org site will no longer be accessible. The vendor who owns and supports the system our portal site is built on is no longer supporting it.
The items from the old portal are now available from your Infinite Campus portal in the “More” section in “Parent Access Links”. Here is a guide to help you navigate this change: Parent Access Link.
We also recommend updating any browser bookmarks you may have.

Getting on Infinite Campus & Schoology
Infinite Campus, and especially the Parent App, is a great way to keep track of your student's grades. Instructions can be found here.
Schoology is a great place to look at the upcoming due dates for your student. You can always have your student sign on and take you through, or you can get Family Access. Instruction on how to do this can be found here.
School Lunch / Free & Reduced Fees Application
Worthington Schools offers breakfast and lunch to students. Pricing for meals will be based on family eligibility. New Meal Applications are required for families every school year. Families may find the online Free/Reduced Lunch Eligibility Form HERE. All students use their Lunch ID for meals. The student's number can be found in the Parent Portal by selecting the Student ID tab and then look for their student's Lunch PIN.
Families may add money to their lunch account through My Payments Plus. They may also use My Payments Plus to track their student's account and see much money remains on it. My Payments Plus is also used to pay other fees, like high school parking permits and AP testing fees.
