Robinwood Families,
Thank you to the Franklin Fire Department for coming to teach and visit our Kindergartners and 2nd graders!
Firefighter Joe and Firefighter Zach came into K5 classes to show the equipment they wear to stay safe during a fire. K5 learned that firefighters are helpful and safe, even if they look different in their equipment. They also learned if a firefighter calls out during a fire to say, "Help! I'm over here!!" so they will know where help is needed.
The second grade students had the opportunity to participate in Survive Alive. Students learned what to do if there is a fire in their house, got hands-on experience with what to do if they smelled smoke, and even got to practice escaping out of a window! Students were asked to go home and check the batteries in their smoke detectors and discuss their emergency plan with their families including having a meeting spot.
Additionally, with winter quickly approaching and additional winter items starting to trickle in, we strongly encourage all families to write their child(ren)’s names somewhere in/on the item, preferably on the tag, so we can help locate the correct owners.
Please see the photos in the Lost and Found section of the bulletin. After two weeks, we do donate any items remaining.
Just a friendly reminder, students do not have school on Friday, October 25th.
Thank you Robinwood families!
Have a great week,
Lydia Sesing

PICTURE RETAKE DAY, TUESDAY 10/22/24
The photographer will return to Robinwood on Tuesday, October 22, to take pictures of the students and staff that missed having their picture taken on picture day. Ordering information will be given out at the time of pictures.
They will also do retakes for those students whose pictures did not turn out the first time. If your child needs a picture retake, the complete package needs to be in their hand at the time their photograph is taken. New packages will not be received unless the original package is returned.
Picture packets will be coming about a week before retakes. At that time parents will also receive an email with a photo proof to look at and view.
Please contact customer service with any questions at 262-780-2901 or customerservice@schoolandsportpics.com
LOST & FOUND
Please click here to see pictures of the items in our lost and found. We will be purging lost and found items more often so it’s important for children to keep close tabs on their belongings. It is also suggested that if possible, student items be labeled with the first and last name on it so that we can get it back to the student if it becomes lost. All items not picked up after 2 weeks will be donated.
On Wednesday, October 16th, we held our 2nd of 3 Community Referendum Information Sessions being offered in October. TMJ4 s Mariam Mackar interviewed FPS District Administrator Annalee Bennin about the projects at FHS that the referendum would address. They held a live shot on the 6pm news and featured Franklin Public Schools in a 2-minute story on the 10pm news -- the 10pm news story is on their website here, but both the 6pm & 10pm clips are included in this video below.
