Dear HV Families,

Thank you for joining us on Back-to-School Night and for helping to make the first full week of school successful! Also, a huge shoutout to the HSA and everyone who contributed to the staff appreciation breakfast this morning. Wow, what a spread! We all truly appreciate the effort that went into such a special event. It really meant a lot to all of us.

Enjoy your weekend and we'll see you back at HV on Monday.

Bike and Parking Lot Safety

If you or your child bikes to/from school in the morning, when you are on the sidewalks on school property, please walk your bike to the rack. Riding bikes on crowded sidewalks presents a safety hazard.

If you utilize the car line in the rear of the school, once your child exits your vehicle, please follow the arrows to the END of the parking lot and make the u-turn to exit. Crossing over parking spots is dangerous, as people are parking and walking children to doors. Our security team is always present and will direct you.

Water Bottles

We encourage all students to bring water bottles to school everyday that can be refilled at the water filling stations. Please do no send hot beverages, iced tea and sugary drinks in open top containers to keep on your child's desk. Juice boxes, pouches, Gatorade, and other types of drinks that fit inside lunch boxes are fine for snack and lunch time. Thank you!
