As your new Kohler Elementary Principal, I'd like to introduce myself to those who haven't recently met me through site visits prior to summer, our family/principal morning meet and greet with coffee, donuts, and juice back in July, or through other opportunities such as Kohler Care, phone conversations, or random introductions, I truly come to you with excitement and sheer honor to serve our Kohler School District, children and families. I will attach my parent letter which was shared out back in July, for anyone who may not have seen/read it, as it does tell a bit about what makes me tick and my educational background.
This year, as every year at Kohler Elementary School, it will be a year of excellence, continual learning and collaboration for us all in order to be the best we can be for our children in an everchanging society. This is our opportunity to continue to "glow as an excellent school and grow continually" due to our exceptional teachers, staff, programs, families, and community. No doubt you're busily finding ways to fit in those last summer fun opportunities into the schedule, taking part in sporting events, traveling, and busily shopping to get those school supplies bought and/or things organized prior to the start of the new school year. But, I'm hoping this newsletter will remind you to relax and enjoy our hot, sunny days while sharing some helpful checklist items prior to the start of school.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any concerns you may have now or along the way or just stop by to introduce yourself. I'm a sponge of sorts, at this time, as I continue to learn and embrace all the special Kohler traits and rich history of our amazing district. Rest assured, your child's safety, happiness, and continual academic growth will always be at the core of my and our staff's decisions as we partner with you, our amazing Kohler parents and caregivers throughout this school year. Let the new school year memories begin!
