7th Grade Updates and Information
Tardy to Class Concerns
Seventh grade families,
As a 7th grade team we have been noticing an increase in the frequency of student Tardiness. Our 7th grade teachers are going to begin holding after school detention periods for students to reflect on the importance of students getting to class on time. The detention period will begin directly after school and conclude at 4:00 p.m. Students who are tardy to three or more classes in one week will be assigned to the detention period. We ask that parents arrive promptly at four O'clock to collect his or her student. Alternately, if transportation or scheduling is a concern then students will be assigned one day of ISI. If the opportunity arises please discuss the importance of getting to class on time with your student. Thank you for your continued support as we approach the conclusion of a successful 7th grade school year,
End of Year Field Day
The 7th grade is planning a field day event to celebrate our successes and the closure of 7th grade. Please take a few minutes to read the attached letter from the 7th grade teachers.
