Dear Lebanon Elementary School Families,
It was great to see everyone back after our winter break. With the month of March having a variety of types of weather, please make sure students have what they need each day. The playground tends to get muddy and wet during the month of March. March is also a busy month. Please, see the dates below for more information.
Sincerely,
Heather LaFrance - Principal

Monthly Math Moment and LIVE Webinar Series
Math Webinar Series
In this episode of Monthly Math Moment we take on the strategies young students learn to master the basic skills many of us adults learned by memorization. Our “Learning the Basics” series starts with the progression children 3 - 5 go through to learn to count.
Math Webinar Series - LIVE
Our next live math webinar is coming up next week! Tuesday, March 4th at 6:15 PM is an opportunity for you to learn the sequence of multiplication teaching through grades 2 through 5. If you want to join our math coach, Carrie Wilson, the flyer with the link is attached. I hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.
Around the School
Community Meeting
Our Community Meeting for February took place, Friday, February 28th. Students were recognized for having perfect attendance for the month of February. Awards for our O.W.L.S. Club were handed out to a student in each class. Kindergarten students shared a video on what it means to work hard and show good craftsmanship. We will be emphasizing craftsmanship during the month of March.
100th Day of School Celebrations
Kindergarten students dressed the part for the 100th day of school, while 1st grade students created their hats with 100 items for the 100th day Parade. The kids were ready for this on Thursday, February 6th, however the weather did not cooperate and our 100th day was Friday, February 7th. It was a lot of fun and students were so creative with their hats and dress up.
