We love to see our Bridges Bears each and Every Day! Attendance is Essential!
Dear Families -
This week has been a wonderful week back in the building with students! The weather still proves to provide the reality of sending layers of clothing as the students go outside multiple times a day! As we prepare for the weeks ahead, know that they will go fast so, HOLD on TIGHT!
Next week on Monday, April 8, the students will learn and hear from an author: Lynette Williams! We welcome her and can't wait to hear about her journey to become an author! There is no school on Wednesday, April 10th - Eid-al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr is a time when Muslims come together in prayer, and also celebrate completing Ramadan.
The week of April 15 begins our MCA tests for grades 3-5. As always preparing for these standardized tests has been going on all year! Having breakfast and a good night of sleep always helps!
Cub Connection for our incoming kindergarten students is on Thursday, April 18th from 5:00-6:30 and the presentation begins in the auditorium promptly at 5:10 pm. We will complete this week on Friday, April 19th with our spring music program! The music in the hallways is sure to prove it will be a wonderful concert!
Reach out as always with any questions or wonders you may have! We will provide more communication regarding the breaking ground of our new secure entrance that will start on Friday, May 3. We will begin a new drop off and pick up for any families dropping off at door 1. Stay tuned!
Together in Learning! Mrs. RittmillerAs you all may know on Monday, April 8th we will experience a partial solar eclipse. The eclipse will begin around 1pm, hit its peak at 2pm and end around 3:10pm. Due to this timeline and our dismissal time at 2:50, it is important to especially share with your elementary students to not look directly at the sun when they are dismissed. We will also let our students know this at the building level and ensure we aren't outdoors during this time period for recess. Our Bridges dismissal will look the same as a normal dismissal.
Persuasive Papers from grade 2 brings popcorn for all -Thanks to Boom Chicka Pop
Spaghetti Dinner Packets - Due on Monday, April 8th!
