CHPS Update | May 23, 2024
Supt. Stenvik encourages Hylanders to finish the school year strong!
Greetings Hylander students, staff and caregivers,
As we near the end of the 2023-24 school year, I want to extend both well wishes and clear expectations. Let’s finish the school year strong by maintaining respectful interactions with one another- respect among students, respect for staff and respect for self. We will continue to adhere to school rules and policies each and every school day. There are so many reasons to celebrate all of your successes this school year, and countless examples of Hylander Pride. Also this time of year can be stressful, so I encourage you to talk with friends, family or support staff if needed. Keep up the good work and let’s have a safe, enjoyable and respectful last two weeks of school.

CHPS Strategic Planning Survey
This Survey Will Close May 31, 2024
In January, Columbia Heights Public Schools (CHPS) launched a comprehensive strategic planning process. In order to ensure that all voices of our diverse school district community are represented in this plan, we are conducting numerous engagements – including interviews, focus groups, open insights and workshops – with students, parents and families, teachers and staff, community partners and district residents.
In an effort to ensure our new strategic plan is truly developed in partnership with students, families, staff and residents, we return to ask for feedback from the CHPS community. You are asked to please review the draft strategic framework and complete this brief survey. Your input will help inform district leaders in refining the strategic plan ahead of a presentation to the School Board in June.
Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey by Friday, May 31, 2024.
You can scan the QR Code or click the buttons below to take the survey.
