Dance-a-thon snack offerings
Hello Coolidge Families,
The PTA is busy planning for the Monster Mash. They would like to provide students with a snack during their dance time. Please take a moment to review the snack options. If your child is not able to have these items, please reach out to Mrs. Rand as soon as possible at arand@livoniapublicschools.org and we can work together to find a safe alternative.

Coolidge Drop off and Pick up Procedures
The Loop (Highly Recommended) – The loop can be used for drop off or pick up. Students should remain in their cars until the car has come to a complete stop in the painted half circle area. Please do not let your child out of the car, or wave your child to your car, while you are in any other part of the loop area or driveway. Do not leave the loop area until the vehicle in front of you has left. Please remain alert and ready to move forward with traffic.
The Parking lot - The parking lot can be used for drop off or pick up. Your car should be parked in a parking spot and you will need to walk your child to and from the school doors. Your child should NEVER be in the parking lot without you at their side. The ONLY place that parking or sitting is permitted, is in a designated parking space. Parking anywhere else could prevent our buses from coming or going. (Using the loop is easier.)
PTA NEWS AND INFORMATION
Youth Making a Difference
Youth Making a Difference information came home last week. This year our theme is Hop in and Help. This is a district wide volunteer and community service campaign. Please start sending commitment forms in asap so students' names can be added to our hallway bulletin board. Don’t forget to document your projects!
If you have any questions about YMAD please contact Elizabeth Vacheresse at YMAD@coolidgecougarspta.org
Congratulations
Congratulations once again to our top 3 classrooms with our dance-a-thon fundraiser! Mrs.McPherson, Mrs.Beauvais and Mrs.Poe all earned some new activities for their students to use during indoor recess.
spirit store
On 10/23/24 the PTA will be setting up our spirit store during recess for students to shop at. We will be selling our spirit sticks (keychains). Spirit sticks and keychains are $1 each. We ask that if participating, students bring no more than $5 to spend in an envelope/bag labeled with their name and teacher. We sent out an email to all PTA members interested in volunteering last week. If you are interested in helping, please go to our website (coolidge.givebacks.com) and look under the volunteer opportunities for the sign up. If it goes well, we hope to offer our spirit store sale monthly or every other month.
Help Needed
We are in need of a few more volunteers for our dance-a-thon event on Halloween! Young fives, Kindergarten and 3rd grade will participate in the morning and 1st, 2nd and 4th grades will be dancing in the afternoon. Please use the link below to sign up for a shift if you are interested in helping. Please make sure you have a valid i-chat on file if planning on volunteering in the school.
