Dear Cypress Families,
By now you have received many different communications about our move to the Calusa campus, 7520 Orchid Lake Rd. for next school year. My visit to the campus was a pleasant one and I can assure you that we are going to have a very nice home for the 25-26 school year with only Cypress Cubs on this site! Please help me to also reassure your child that they will have the same teacher faces, the same front office ladies, the same Principal, Ms. Krapfl and the same Assistant Principal, Mrs. Lovelle as well as the very same security guard, Mr. Paul! Our friendly cafeteria ladies will also be travelling to Calusa so the boys and girls will still have Miss Kathy serving them every day and probably the most important thing for children to know is their same friends will be there too! We will stay at Calusa for one school year and then return to our beautiful brand-new remodeled Cypress Elementary campus at 10055 Sweet Bay Court to begin the 26-27 school year! Please join us at the Cypress media center on Wednesday April 30th if you would like to hear from our architect team and contracted builders. This will be a business-like evening and not the usual Cypress kid friendly event. There may only be standing room as well so please join us while keeping this in mind.
Thank you for your continued partnerships as we head into May when our intermediate students will be focusing on doing their very best on the State F.A.S.T assessments in Reading, Math and Science. Lets finish our attendance strong as the boys and girls are working towards a 90% or greater attendance in order to have a fun Water Day event on May 16th!
