REMINDER: Finding Nemo Kids Rehearsals Start on Thursday, 3/7
Congratulations to all of the kiddos that auditioned and will be participating in the spring production of Finding Nemo Kids in may. Rehearsals will be held in the Kilgour gym on Thursday mornings from 8am - 9am starting tomorrow, March 7th, 2024.
We could use some early morning volunteers to help Ms. Tina with rehearsals. If you have an interested older student that would like to get some volunteer hours, please encourage them to join us in the gym on Thursday mornings. Or, if you are available and willing to help, please join us in the gym. Can't stay the whole time? No worries, stay as long as you can. We'll take whatever assistance we can get.
There's a Mouse in our House and He's on a Motorcycle
The Mouse & The Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary
We've started our "One Book, One School" initiative this week. Our 6th graders have been joining the (K-5) classrooms on Tuesday through Friday to read to students. On Mondays, we have a "Mystery Reader" over the announcements to begin reading at 9:15am. Every teacher and administrative staff has also been reading the book to allow us to engage in conversation with students about the book.
Have you been keeping up with the happenings of Ralph in Beverly Cleary's The Mouse & The Motorcycle? If not, be sure to ask your kiddos about it. You can also click the book cover to access a PDF version of the book.
