Weekly Update

Dear Aquin Families,

We had such a great time during Catholic Schools Week! A special thank you to Mrs. Carlson for helping to coordinate the activities during the week. We had an especially great time having lunch with a special person, seeing our talent show and, as always, Big Dawg/Little Dawg activities.

I am attaching a copy of the tentative 2025-2026 calendar. It has been submitted to the Catholic Education Office for approval, so there may be slight changes, but this should give you something to help with plans.

On Friday, we met with a consultant from Avanti Advisors, Chris Mominey and his team. We will be working with Chris to create a plan for increasing enrollment and securing our financial future. To be clear, we are very fortunate to have an educational foundation built over the last 100 years of Aquin Catholic Schools that allows us time to strategize and come up with our best path forward. The task force, Father McMorrow and I are committed to making sure we do everything possible to grow our wonderful school. There will be much more on this work as we move forward, but we wanted you to know that it is happening. Please reach out to me if you have questions.

The PTO February Bingo night has been postponed. We will let you know when it is rescheduled. Also, the PTO Bowling event is tonight. If you didn't sign up, don't worry! You can still attend and pay at the door.

The lunch menu is always available on the Aquin website.

Lunch is $4.50 per meal or $0.40 for those who qualify for a reduced-price meal.

Please contact Mrs. Gaulrapp if your child needs to be absent or tardy.

Tardy for Pre-K is after 8 AM. Tardy for K-8 is after 7:45 AM.

If your child is late to school, please come to the Galena Street entrance by the office and have your child check in at the office before heading to class.
