Family Open House
Our Family Open House was a great success last Thursday. Thank you to all families in attendance!! Students showcased their work to family members, toured them around to all of their favorite spots at the Perry, and If you were not able to make it, we encourage you to reach out to set up a spring conference with your teacher sooner than later.
Congratulations MCAS Alt Team!!!
Our students in Ms. Mulenga and Ms. Sparrow’s class gathered together on Thursday the 21st to showcase all of their great work so far this year to families, peers and staff members throughout the building. These students have worked extremely hard to complete the rigorous MCAS Alt Portfolio process. Congratulations to Ms. Mulenga, Ms. Jordan, Ms. Sparrow, Ms. Ferris, Ms. (Ludie) Belizaire and their students on their excellent work!!
Fifth and Sixth Graders Out Seeing The City
Our fifth and sixth graders (Mr. Kidd, Ms. Moran and Ms. Sparrow’s classes) visited Boston Arts Academy on Friday the 22nd for Simply the Best: The Tina Turner Tribute Show. This production was entirely run by BAA students – actors, singers, the band, the production crew, stage and lighting, etc. Our students and staff both raved about how outstanding this performance was – huge thanks to Ms. Doyle for organizing! For those unfamiliar, BAA is a BPS performing arts high school located just outside of Fenway Park.
As Opening Day takes place across Major League Baseball today, our fifth and sixth graders will be headed to Fenway Park to tour the stadium and take part in the Fenway Learning Lab.
Not All Superheros Wear Capes
We want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to our Perry students and families! As a school, we raised over $200 that will be donated to colon cancer research!

If your child does not have Red Sox gear, they can participate by wearing Red Sox colors; baseball gear; or Boston gear. All proceeds will go to Dana-Farber and the Jimmy Fund.

Perry March Madness
