Husky Happenings
April 4th, 2025
Message from Mrs. Sheppard
Happy Friday!
Spring is in the air....even though it might not feel like it! The weather is going to fluxuating quite a bit in the next couple of weeks so please be sure to send coats with your child every day. We take them out ot recess as long as their is no rain.
Next week will begin our MSTEP testing. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students will be taking these tests. I am adding the days that each grade level will test in the section of this newsletter that shows "What's Happening this Week." Please be sure that your child is ON TIME every day so that they can test with their class. If they are late, they will have to test in a different room from their class. It is also important that they get a good night's rest the night before they test. We know our students will do their very best!
This week in the Positivity Project we will discuss the character strength Other People Mindset: Identifying and appreciating the good in others. This means that we deliberately work to identify and appreciate other's charcter strengths. Please read the letter and talk about this trait with your family during the week to reinforce what we are talking about in school.
Please feel free to email or DOJO me with questions you might have and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Sheppard
