March 14th 2025 Principal's Message
Hello Blevins Families,
Spring Break is upon us, and I hope that you all have a wonderful week. If you are going out of town, safe travels. If you are staying home, I hope that it brings joy and relaxation. We're proud of the progress that our Bruins have made over this 3rd quarter of the year. We are ready for the home stretch after break.
I'd like to recognize an amazing group of students this week who went to the Kid Wind competition at CSU with Mr. Hartley's Technology class. This is an engineering challenge competition among middle school students from the front range area. Three of our groups placed Fourth, Second, and First! Big shout out to our 1st place team: Reed Bruggeman and Brennan Seeboth.
I also had the distinct pleasure of watching our Honor Choir students last night at the Lincoln Center for the 3rd Annual PSD Elementary and Middle School Honor Choir concert. I'm so proud of the work that these individuals have put into growing their craft, as well as the passion they have for their performance.
Enjoy the week ahead. Can't wait to see our students after the break!
Proudly,
Joe Zappa, Principal

Resiliency Series for parents from RMHS Student Services
Hi Families,
For the month of March, we will be focusing on regulation activities that help calm the mind and body. Learning to incorporate these activities before you are in a state of crisis can help build resiliency. Being resilient will help in overcoming overwhelming feelings. This is a skill that can be learned.

Self Regulation Coping Strategies
It is important for individuals to recognize that having many different “tools in their toolkit” will allow you to try different strategies in a state of crisis. Create a list of activities that work specifically for you so you can refer back to them when needed.
We hope you enjoy this month's resources!
Your RMHS Student Service Team
Please note that as a RMHS Student Services department, we are not trying to promote or support any one particular person, news source or entity. We simply want to share articles, information and tools that we have found helpful in our work with students and families.
