Community on Campus
Community on Campus Committee Kicks Off with Success!
We’re excited to announce our next big project: SCHOOL BEAUTIFICATION DAY! Join us on Saturday, November 23rd, starting at 8:00 AM, as we come together to enhance our high school campus. This is a community-wide effort, so bring your friends, family, and especially your kids—they can earn community service hours and take pride in giving back to their school. We’ll be meeting next to the MU at 8:00 AM, and the project will wrap up by noon.
If you can participate on November 23rd, please RSVP using the link below. Let us know what supplies you can bring so we can organize volunteers and resources effectively. Here’s what we need:
- Power washers
- Rags
- Gloves
- Brooms
- Dustpans
- Garbage bags
- Dusters
- Scrapers (for gum)
- Any other helpful items you can provide!
Looking ahead, our next beautification event will be in January or February after the holidays. If you’re interested in leading a future project, please reach out!
Click here to let Mr. Jones know you’d like to attend and if you can bring any of the listed supplies.

Cougar Boosters
We would like to send a huge Congratulations out to Alex Sukhorukov for qualifying for state at this year’s CCS Finals on Saturday! Way to go, Alex! Alex will head to Fresno on November 30th to run at Woodward Park against the state’s best.
Football wrapped up the season with a CCS playoff game at Palo Alto last Friday night. It was a tough outcome, but we were impressed and happy the community came out to support this hardworking and talented team. Big shout out to Coach Ekis and crew on a successful rookie year as Varsity Head Coach, well done!
Basketball is getting things rolling quickly with some preseason scrimmage this week. Get a taste of what’s in store this season with a sportsmanship matchup on Thursday at home.
Also, we would like to say thank you to those of you who came out to Fan Fest. We loved the HMB Band and Cheer performances and are grateful these students gave their free time on a weekend to show off for us. Our athletics just wouldn’t be the same without these key players.
Our 2024 Fan Fest sponsors, please support these businesses who support out student athletes. Without their generosity and kindness, we would be a very different program. Thank you!

Make Sure You Get Credit For Those Hours
Cougars! Now that you’ve volunteered, make sure you get credit for those hours!
Check that your service logs have moved from Pending to Approved.
IF they have not, go back into the log and make sure the supervisor’s email is spelled correctly. When all looks good, click Update Log and then contact your supervisor to ask them to look for the email from MobileServe to verify your hours so they can get approved. If needed, email Ms. Hoffman for support.
Fall Break Volunteering
