International Walk to School Day!
MCS FUN RUN TOMORROW!
We will have our annual Fitness Fun Run TOMORROW. The students will have 45 minutes to complete as many laps as possible around the course set up. Afterward, there will be a few activities and a snack. The funds collected will go to the Moscow Charter School Parent Action Team to help support our school. If $2019 is collected by Wednesday, October 9th, Mr. B will make a performance dressed as "Captain Underpants" (voted by the students).
Students are encouraged to collect pledges and to dress up on the day of the Fun Run. The grade who raises the most funds will win a pizza party and a class trophy. The students with the most laps in each grade will receive a plaque and personalized MCS wood backpack tag. The students with the craziest dress-up will receive a prize too, so let the creativity run wild (no masks or hats, please!). Pledges need to be turned in along with the pledge sheet by Wednesday, October 9th to allow for accurate accounting of fundraising awards.
If you would like to help out on the day of the Fun Run or help plan activities for the students, please signup at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0d48a9ab2baaf58-funrun

Free/Reduced Lunch Program
All applications that have been received this year have been processed and you should have received a letter notifying you of your approval or denial, with the exception of any applications turned in late last week. All directly certified students should have also received a letter notifying them on their status as well. Please hold on to this letter as it is your proof that you qualify for the program.
If you have received a grace period letter, your grace period is now over and to continue services you will need to complete a new application for the 2019-2020 school year. All lunch purchases beginning October 1st will be at full price until a new application is submitted and approved for the program.
Even if you do not plan to use the program and think you will qualify, please take the time to apply. We receive funding for various programs based on this program. Applications are accepted year round and can be submitted for evaluation to the Business Manager at any time throughout the year. The application and income guidelines can be found under the Lunch section on our website.
