SALON PARTNERS WITH FWISD TO RECOGNIZE STUDENTS
Owners of the Great Clips Eastchase Parkway Salon are partnering with the Fort Worth ISD to commend students for good grades, attendance and citizenship.
In a new partnership with the District, Mohammad and Shazia Azam, owners of the Fort Worth salon, are offering 50 gift certificates for haircuts to students at Bill J. Elliott, East Handley and Lowery Road elementary schools, and Handley Middle School. The certificates, which will be distributed every six weeks, will go to students making the A or A/B Honor Roll, achieving perfect/outstanding attendance or citizenship.
“It will give us an opportunity to help schools recognize the talented kids,” Mr. Mohammad Azam said.
The owners also plan to donate coupons to teachers.
