Sun Bucks Federal Food Benefit
SUN Bucks (Summer EBT) is a federal food benefit that helps low-income families with school-aged children buy food when schools are closed for the summer. Click the image at right for details.
Moving-On Ceremonies
Thanks to the principals, assistant principals, teachers, and staff who planned last week’s Grade 8 Moving-On Ceremonies at the district’s five K-8 schools. Kiwanis Club Scholarships
The Kiwanis Club of Everett honored its 2025 scholarship recipients during its monthly meeting held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, inside the Crimson Café. The 18 Everett High School seniors each received $1,000 scholarships. This includes 11 Kiwanis Awards, four Ersilia Cataldo Mattarazzo scholarships, the Culinary Award, the Dr. Sidney Listernick Scholarship, and the Frank E. Woodward Scholarship.
Big News: Little Free Library
Everett High School (EHS) Class of 2025 graduate Evelyn Gayhart and the Kiwanis Club unveiled a Little Free Library on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. The new location, a part of Evelyn’s Free Library Network, is on Elm Street, near Glendale Park and the entrance to EHS. Digital Media Excellence Award
The Everett Public Schools is proud to announce that it has received a 2025 Publication and Digital Media Excellence Award in the social media category for its posts entitled, "Attendance Matters."
NSPRA’s Publication and Digital Media Awards recognize outstanding tactical materials such as publications, newsletters, videos, podcasts, websites, social media and more. Entries are judged within an entry category for organizations of a similar type and size. Each entry is judged on the overall excellence of the entry as well as its quality compared to other entries in the category.
