Message From Mr. Burkhart

It is with deep regret that we share the passing of Mr. Glenn (Cox), a dedicated bus driver for Berkeley County Schools. Mr. Glenn drove bus #245, transporting students to Valley View Elementary, Mountain Ridge Intermediate, Mountain Ridge Middle, and Musselman High School. His loss is deeply felt across our school community, and we recognize that it may bring about a range of emotions, concerns, and questions—especially for our students.

Our school counselors are available to help any student who may need support or guidance as they process this loss. Additionally, Berkeley County Schools partners with the Cook Center for Human Connection and their Mental Health and Wellness Resource Center: ParentGuidance.org. They offer parent coaching, on-demand courses, and other resources that may be useful to you in helping your student at home.
