Class of 2024 Graduation Ceremony Set for May 24th; Senior Dinner Held
On Friday, May 17th, the RULH High School Class of 2024 visited RULH Elementary School and the Ohio Valley Manor to walk through in their caps and gowns. The elementary students lined the hallways and cheered for the 2024 graduates. At Ohio Valley Manor, the staff and patients enjoyed seeing the graduates in their caps and gowns.
As per RULH High School tradition, the seniors enjoyed a steak dinner at Laurel Oaks Golf Club on Wednesday, May 22nd. Mr. Doug Bowery grilled the steaks for the students and staff! A great time was had by all!

Retiring Teachers Honored at RULH Board of Education Meeting
Congratulations to the following RULH School District retirees (who were honored at the RULH Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, May 14th): Mr. Michael Scanlan (30 service years - top left), Mr. Doug Bowery (28 service years - top right), Mr. Kelley Bierley (32 service years - middle left), Mrs. Tammy Campbell (34 service years - middle right), and Mrs. Aimee Carpenter (33 service years - bottom left). All in all, these legendary educators gave a total of 157 years of dedicated teaching service to RULH Local School District. RULH Local Schools cannot thank these fine educators enough for their many years of hard work and dedication. Best wishes in retirement!

RULH High School Holds Annual Scholarship Dinner
The RULH High School Scholarship Awards Dinner was held on Tuesday, May 21st. The students, parents, and staff enjoyed a meal of lasagna, salad, garlic bread and cookies (for desert). Ms. Jasmine Osman (School Counselor), Mrs. Christy Haitz, (secretary) and Mrs. Janet Dugan (secretary) did a fantastic job of preparation for the event. Members of the Class of 2024 received over $65,000 in local scholarships alone. Congratulations to the Class of 2024! Blue Jay Pride!
RULH Junior/Senior High School Band and Choir Concert Holds Excellent Concert
The RULH Jr./Sr. High School Band and Choir concert was excellent! The concert featured a duet by the Fossitt brothers, T-Swift music in her Blue Jay Era, and Disney selections from both the Jr./Sr. High choir and band. The high school band treated us to their own rendition of the school fight song! Congratulations to the following award winners:

Sixth Graders Visit and Tour RULH Jr./Sr. High School; Enjoy Sendoff Cookout
RULH 6th graders recently visited and toured the Jr./Sr. High School. Students got a "sneak peak" of what their day will look like next year as 7th graders. The RULH Jr. High Staff is looking forward to having the new 7th graders next school year!
The sixth graders were honored by the PTO and staff at RULH Elementary with a cookout on Friday, May 17th. The students enjoyed a luncheon of hotdogs, chips, pop, and popsicles. They also enjoyed fellowship while playing games with their classmates. Best wishes to the 6th graders next year at the Jr./Sr. High School!

Ripley Museum to Offer Free Admission for the 2024 Season
The Ripley Museum will offer free admission for the 2024 season. The museum is open on Friday's and Saturday's.
Housed in a ten-room 1850s Federal-style home, the Ripley Museum is filled with more than 600 unique and rare items relating to Ripley's rich, historic past. The Civil War collection includes locally found weapons, photographs, and letters from the men of Ripley, Ohio, and the surrounding region. The museum can provide information about the marker at the nearby site of Camp Ripley, which served as a training and mustering camp during 1861-64.
