Our schoolwide retreat was a success! Students participated in Mass, made prayer books for our seminarians, prayed the Rosary, prayed the Stations of the Cross, created prayer rocks with their prayer buddies, and some played Catholic trivia. It was a great day to renew, pray and refresh as we enter the homestretch of the school year!

Parents, if you are able to donate to HSA for teacher appreciation funds, it would be greatly appreciated! Every $50 donation counts for 1 volunteer point! Teacher Appreciation week is the week of May 6th!

Below is the calendar for the 2024-2025 school year. TPC DATES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED. A more detailed calendar with additional school activities will be released prior to the end of the school year.

The following staff will be tutoring this summer. Please contact them ASAP if you are interested in having your child tutored. Please note if you sign up for a tutoring slot with the teacher, and do not show up, you are still responsible for paying for the hour at the designated rate of $60 per hour.

Finally, let’s go over some sun smart steps:

Step 1- Use sunscreen everyday. UV rays are strongest during summer, but they can cause damage year-round. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 16 or higher everyday in every season.

Step 2- Seek shade. Play is safe in the shade whenever possible and avoid midday sun. UV rays are especially strong between 10am and 4pm.

Step 3- Cover up. Make your own shade with a wide-brimmed hat, long-sleeved shirts and long pants. Baseball caps and visors shade the face but leave the neck, lower face, and ears exposed.

Step 4- Wear sunglasses. Protect your eyes with UV blocking sunglasses. Look for a tag that says the lenses block 99% or more of UV radiation.

Step 5- Learn not to burn! Just one blistering sunburn when you are a child or teen doubles your risk of developing a severe skin condition later in life. Using sun protection every day may be the smartest thing you can do for yourself.

PCA uses a Virtues in Practice Program. Each month we focus on a specific virtue and different grade levels learn about a saint who exemplifies that virtue. At the end of month, there will be a family assignment to complete about the virtue. Each class will choose a Disciple of the Month based on the virtue.

April's virtue of the month is OBEDIENCE. Obedience is saying "yes" to the loving will of God .
