- Provide a healthy breakfast to help them stay focused.

We are excited for this opportunity to show how much our students have learned and grown. Your support makes a big difference!
Raising MultiCultural Kids
RLM students have been excited and looking forward to their visits from RMK Diversity Leaders! The literature shared so far has been:
- Sit-In: How Four Friends Stood Up by Sitting Down by Andrea Davis Pinkney
- Dancing Hands: A Story of Friendship in Filipino Sign Language by Joanna Que and Charina Marquez
- José Feeds the World: How a Famous Chef Feeds Millions of People in Need Around the World by David Unger
- The Many Colors of Harpreet Singh by Supriya Kelkar
- Malakai's Costume by Nadia L. Hohn
- Waiting For The Biblioburro by Monica Brown
- Lailah's Lunchbox: A Ramadan Story by Reem Faruqi
Diversity Leaders are focusing on :
- Encouraging students to be curious about themselves and others builds self-confidence and empathy.
- Exposing students to different family structures, cultures, skin colors, abilities and language widens a student's worldview and builds perspective-taking skills.
- Providing children with appropriate language to describe differences and harmful treatment gives children the skills to address issues and create productive dialogue about change
- Helping students understand our country's history and how it impacts people today develops critical thinking skills to identify and deconstruct systems of harm.
- Representation matters
Little Bee Yoga
The energy was buzzing as Ms. Christine guided us through another inspiring session. With a calm spirit and a focus on mindfulness, Ms. Christine helped everyone strike a pose and find their inner peace. It was a session filled with balance, strength, and relaxation. We can't wait for the next visit
Laser Show
We experienced an amazing laser light show on Wednesday, February 26th, featuring vibrant animations and a rocking soundtrack that made learning Black history both fun and educational. The Black History Laser Tribute brought history to life, highlighting the powerful impact of African Americans in shaping our culture and country. Thank you to the PTO for sponsoring this amazing show!
