Worthington Hills Summer Update

Worthington Hills Families,

After the 4th of July, it seems that summer just slides through our fingers and we are back at school before we know it. We still have a month to squeeze in a little more fun (and reading)! There is still time for more fun, adventures and memories! Whatever your family is doing, I hope you are enjoying these summer days (and reading)!

We know that back to school can be stressful so my hope is that this newsletter can be a one stop shop for all the information you need. For this issue, I wanted to get dates out for your calendars and supply lists. If you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to call school, 614-450-4700, and Erin Neville or I will be happy to help. One of us is in, most days, 8:00-3:00 and if we don't answer we will get back to you within 24-48 hours.

I hope you enjoy this next month with your children and look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Emily Peart will be joining the Kindergarten team this fall! Emily, who is originally from Commercial Point, OH, graduated from Capital University this May with a Bachelor of Arts in Primary Childhood Education. In her free time, she loves to travel, read, bake, and spend time with friends and family. Emily is excited to join the Worthington Hills community!

We’re excited to welcome all new Worthington Hills families and incoming Kindergarten families for a casual Mix & Mingle on the playground! Join us on July 30, 2025, from 6:15–7:15 PM for a chance to meet new faces, make new friends, and let the kids play and explore. Bring a water bottle, come as you are, and enjoy some fun as we get ready for an awesome school year ahead!

Back To School Help Center On Worthington's Website

At 4pm on Friday, August 8th you will be able to view your child's homeroom teacher on Infinite Campus for students in grades 1-5. This is a different way of communicating lists across the district so we wanted to give you a heads up. If you are unfamiliar with Infinite Campus, don't worry. You can find a guide (in English and Spanish) here. If you have questions or need help in another language, just give the office a call. Infinite Campus is also where you can find your child's progress report, assessment results, updates and other important student information throughout the year. We encourage you to sign in prior to August 8th and be sure you know how to access you account. If you are unsure of your user name or password, no worries, those directions are included here.

Ice Cream Social/Meet the Teacher

We’re excited to welcome you to our Annual Ice Cream Social & Meet the Teacher Night on Monday, August 11, from 4:00–6:00 PM! This is a building wide event and K-5 students will be in attendance.

Join us for a fun and friendly evening where you can:

Pick up your school supply kits (if you ordered one),
Explore our Kindergarten classrooms,
Meet our wonderful 4 Kindergarten teachers,
Students can enjoy a complimentary sweet treat from Dairy Queen,
And play on our playground with friends—new and old!

To help create a comfortable experience for everyone, we warmly invite families of students with sensory needs to join us a little early, beginning at 3:40 PM. Thank you for helping us honor this time for students who need it and make the event welcoming for all.
