VME Turkey Trot
November 15th
VME is having it's very first Turkey Trot, this is our 3rd annual Walk-A-Thon. The Turkey Trot will take place on Friday, November 15th, during each grade level's Related Arts time.
We welcome parents and families to attend and walk with their child(ren). All guests must check in at the front office with a photo ID (a hard copy is required, no images of ID can be accepted). Please keep in mind the check in process will take time as many families volunteer or walk/run with their child(ren) for this event.
Please plan to join your child in walking/running, we know it can easily be a time to catch up with friends, but students love to have you walking/running with them.
Students and guests are welcome to wear athletic attire. Students must follow CCPS Dress Code and guests/volunteers should wear elementary school appropriate attire per the CCPS Volunteer Handbook.
If you would like to volunteer for this event, we have 8 volunteer slots for each grade level Turkey Trot timeframe. Please click this link to sign up for the time you would prefer.

Square 1 Art
Hello VME Family,
You should have received your child’s catalog for our Square 1 Art fundraiser. Every purchase made before November 6, 2024 contributes to funds used for our VME Art classroom!
Simply search for your child's art using Art Search, and enter state, school name, and your student's name or use their specific Art code. Your student's art and code will appear, and you may order! If your student had any spelling errors when writing their name, or illegible handwriting, you might not be able to find your student’s artwork. No worries! You will receive the code within the next week through a catalog coming home in their Wednesday folder.
ORDER DEADLINE: 11/6/2024
Head over to www.square1art.com to order keepsakes featuring your student’s art! All orders made before November 6th help fund our VME Art class budget! Thank you for your support!
Thank you for supporting our school and the arts!
