What a wonderful first week of school we had. Between the start of fall sports, getting back to a routine, and the beautiful weather, I suspect you have had some very tired children at pick up. Our new superintendent of schools, Shelly Wheeler has asked me to share the following message with all of our families. Please click on the link below to read her welcome back letter.

If you plan on volunteering at the school and have not completed the Protecting God's Children Class, you will need to do so. The first one being offered for the 2024/2025 school year is on September 10 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in Saint Mary's Church Hall. No need to sign up ahead of time, just show up. Reach out to Mary Soucy at mary.soucy@portlanddiocese.org with any questions.

The first raise right order is due Monday, September 9, 2024. Raise right is a program that allows you to purchase gift cards for your use and in turn pays a percentage back to the school. Attached below is the flyer with all the details. Please consider using this service as a way to help raise funds for All Saints.

Mark your calendars! It may seem early to be talking about Advent, but it is time for our first Advent calendar fundraiser meeting. The meeting will be held on September 18th, time to be determined. Please consider contributing to this much anticipated fundraiser and get in some of your fundraising volunteer hours!!

The PTO is in need of officers!! Please reach out to Kate Carey if you have any interest or questions.

This year, we are changing how we celebrate our teachers and staff each month. Each class will be assigned a month to cover recess/lunch duties as well as food coverage for lunch and the monthly faculty meeting at the end of the day. The campuses will rotate each month. September 5th is the first meeting at St Mary's and the 3rd grade will be responsible for having parents covering at lunchtime and bringing food/treats in. Be on the lookout for an email with a signup along with general directions about how it works. Room parents are in charge of organizing this.
