Good Afternoon Hawk Families,
It's hard to believe that today is the last full day for the 2023-2024 school year! Of course we had some extra excitement with Schoology going down this week. You definitely take technology for granted and realize how much you need it when it's not available! Thanks again for the patience and understanding through all of that.
Our Post Seasons started this week. The rain made it difficult to get some of the games in, but we got there eventually! Here is a quick overview of the week:
- Girls Soccer won their first game of the Regional, so they advanced to the Regional Championship. They faced off against Althoff and ended up losing 3-0. Congratulations to the girls on a great season!
- Girls Softball had their first Regional Game against Dupo. They lost 5-4 after fighting back from being down 4-0. Congratulations to the girls on a great season!
- Girls Track-the 800 Meter Relay Team qualified for State and competed this week. They did not advance to the State finals. Congratulations to the whole track team for a great season!
- Boys Track-Congratulations to Ryan Biffar for qualifying for State in the 400 meters at Sectionals yesterday. Congratulations to Oscar Gedris for medaling in the discus and triple jump and to Austin Stern for medaling in the 800 meters. Ryan will compete on Thursday, so good luck to him! Congratulations to the rest of the track team for a great season!
April Athlete of the Month Congratulations to Libby Mesch for being named the April Athlete of the Month and thank you to Dakota Streets and Country Financial for sponsoring the program!
2024 Awards Ceremony We were proud to acknowledge our students achievements this afternoon at our Award Ceremony. Tonight we will continue on recognizing all the amazing things our students have done this year. Doors open at 6:30PM, Awards Ceremony begins at 7PM.
Quick reminder for the guidelines for Attire
* Attire for the evening Awards program is “dressy”:
*dresses, skirts, nice slacks/tops for girls; no flip flops, please.
* khaki or nice slacks, button-down shirts for guys; tie optional; no tennis shoes, please
Exam Schedule The Exam Schedule is attached as a file right underneath this section of the newsletter. Exams begin on Monday and will be taken through Thursday.
Graduation Our Seniors will officially graduate on Monday, May 20th at 7PM. All are invited and welcome to attend.
Gibault Women's Club The May meeting is being moved to Wednesday, May 22nd. Location TBD. I will let you know next week!
Re-Enrollment for the 2024-2025 School Year
*To complete the re-enrollment process, you must submit a FACTS re-enrollment packet AND have your current balance paid in full by June 30. Students who do not have their balance paid by June 30, 2024 will not be permitted to return for the 2024-2025 school year. If you have questions regarding your balance, please email Mrs. Lanham.

Summer Service Hours Opportunity Volunteers are needed for the SS. Peter & Paul Vacation Bible School this summer. VBS is June 17-21 from 9am – noon. This year’s theme is SCUBA – Diving into friendship with God. Scan the QR code on the flyer in the office to sign up.
