CFES PARENT UPDATE
Week of November 19, 2024
Morning Club Drop-Off Reminders for Parents
- Drive Up to the Flag Pole: Please drive all the way up to the flag pole before dropping off students. This allows more students to exit cars and keeps the line moving efficiently.
- Safety First: Do not park and send your student across the car line. This is dangerous, and we want our Cougars to be safe.
- Wednesday Mornings: Marathon Club should drop off in the back lot near the track. This helps alleviate traffic in the front.
- Right Turn Only: Remember to only turn right out of the driveway. Turning left causes traffic to back up.
If we all follow these procedures, the club drop-off should run smoothly. Thank you for your cooperation!

Thankful for CFES Treat Drive
Our annual Thankful for CFES Treat Drive is on Thursday, November 21. We welcome you to participate by donating homemade baked goods. It is such an amazing and personal way to show our community's gratitude for our amazing CFES staff!
To reach our goal, we need to collect as many baked goods and sweet/salty treats as possible. Homemade is encouraged (but not required). We ask that all treats be neatly packaged and individually wrapped. All food donations will be collected on Thursday 11/21. There will be a table in front of the school where you can drop off items during school hours that day. If you have any questions feel free to call Lindsey (918-605-3365) or Shannon (801-598-9246).

Watch D.O.G.S. Information
WATCH D.O.G.S.® (Dads Of Great Students) is a family and community engagement educational initiative. There are 2 primary goals of the WATCH D.O.G.S. program: 1. To provide positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. 2. To provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security and reduce bullying.
Remember to apply every year to volunteer for Watch D.O.G.S. on this link. It may take a couple of weeks to process. You will receive your schedule upon arrival! We ask that dads sign up for one spot per year so all families have the opportunity to participate. Thank you for volunteering!
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR WATCH D.O.G.S. UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN CLEARED AFTER FILLING OUT THE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION.
