Thanks to our students’ amazing efforts in reaching the Fun Run fundraising goal this fall, we celebrated with an all-school assembly on Wednesday. Teachers and staff entertained students with Minute-to-Win-It games, bringing lots of laughter and fun. The students were fantastic cheerleaders, filling the room with energy and encouragement as we embraced our sillier sides.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the joy and connection that make Hawks View so special.

As we head into the Winter Break, we wish you a holiday season filled with love, laughter, and quality time with those you love.

Wow, Hawks View families really came through to help so many this holiday season. Our 22 fifth grade students in the Canned Food Club counted over 3,500 items over the last two days of the drive, resulting in us exceeding our goal of 6,000 items. Hawks View families donated 6,936 items during this year's food and gift drive! All donations will be distributed to our local community in partnership with the Sherwood Elk's Lodge this coming weekend. Thank you, Hawks View families, for your support of this year's event!

Starting in January 2025, families will begin receiving notifications through ParentSquare if their student’s lunch account has a negative balance.

We encourage all families to check your student's school lunch account balance and address any outstanding negative balances before the new year.

To pay your balance with a credit/debit card or eCheck/ACH, please visit the ParentVUE website. Instructions for navigating the ParentVUE website can be found here. Cash or check payments will be processed by the Nutrition Services Staff in the cafeteria.

Sherwood Education Foundation is sponsoring a free community event on January 15th @ 5pm to 8pm in the Sherwood High School Auditorium. Speaker Tanner Clark is a TEDx and international speaker who has a passion for helping teenagers live their best life and empower them to use their "one second of strength." He has been a guest on the news, podcasts and is the host of The Second of Strength Podcast. Tanner uses social media for good to teach teens and parents about digital dangers and to help them overcome distractions so they can live up to their potential and find happiness.
