• For the safety of all, please do not use our parking lots as pick up or drop of zones.
• When using the small parking lot off of our drop-off loop, please do not block cars in, do not use the turn around space as a parking spot, and always use caution.

Saline Area Schools are proud to partner with local service organizations and groups to support families in need this holiday season. In our vestibule, you will find opportunities to donate coats and toys benefitting our community. Families in need of support are encouraged to reach out to school principals, social workers, or Saline Area Social Service. Support is available for all families enrolled at Saline Area Schools, regardless of income level and residency. We are happy to be a part of a generous community!

Again this year, Heritage will be partnering with Ele’s Place, a healing center for grieving children and teens, to bring you an 8-week grief support group. This group will be offered during the school day, once a week for 8 weeks, here at Heritage. The group is designed to help students who have experienced the death of someone significant to them. In Ele’s Group, there will be the opportunity to do activities, talk about grief experiences; learn ways to cope and to be with others who understand what it’s like to have someone die. This group is not therapy or counseling, it is a way to connect with other students who are grieving and support each other. Groups will be facilitated by an Ele’s Place staff member and social work staff (Stacey Williamson-Carotta and/or Joel Benedek) from our school. If you have additional questions, please talk with Megan DeGrand/Cameron Cochran.

*Note: If your child has been identified as benefiting from this group, the classroom teacher will be in touch.

The Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) aims to enhance the educational experience of special education students by fostering collaboration between parents and the Executive Director of Special Education. This committee will meet monthly to discuss and address key issues, share feedback, and develop strategies to support student success. Every once in a while, a Saline Area Schools family needs just a little bit of extra help. When that happens, we want to make it easy for other families to fulfill that need without knowing who the need is for. These needs will include such things as coats, boots, snacks, gas cards, lunch money, etc...
