Blended Learning Certification
2025-26
Sponsored by Macomb Academy for Digital Educators
Developing Innovative Digital Educators Since 2014
What is MADE?
Macomb County Academy for Digital Educators is the MISD’s premier blended learning academy designed to help participants develop and facilitate a personalized learning environment for digital age teaching and learning.
What is MADE Blended Learning Certification?
“Blending” means combining digital technology resources with face-to-face classroom instruction in a way that empowers students and promotes achievement. Almost all educators are now using digital resources in daily classroom activities. This FREE one-year certification program will promote and support the pedagogy of technology integration using the resources you already have as well share other resources available to make classroom use of technology more effective.
Who Should Participate?
Any Macomb County K-12 educator (in any subject area or grade level), media specialist, instructional coach or district technology leader seeking to better understand how to embed technology into their current practice in order to help students become active creators, collaborators and critical thinkers rather than passive consumers of technology. District educators who are 1:1 with technology are especially encouraged to apply, however participants do NOT need to be technology experts. All technology skill levels are welcome!
