For more information, visit the districtβs e-Learning webpage.
π Thursday - Wendy's Restaurant Night!π₯€

π¦ Due Thursday! 5th Grade: Middle School Scheduling β
In middle school, students are given an opportunity to participate in our excellent music programs, a World Language, or an exploratory rotation. This process is started by selecting one of four options, listed below, as your Encore course sequence. This decision will be your childβs Encore courses for the next three years. The link below goes into greater detail. The four options consist of:
Option 1) Band, Orchestra and/or Chorus (BOC)
Option 2) World Language (WL) *
Option 3) BOTH Band, Orchestra and/or Chorus AND World Language*
Option 4) Exploratory Rotation (NEITHER Band, Orchestra or Chorus nor World Language)
*Students who successfully complete French/Spanish in 7th and 8th Grade will be recommended for French 2/Spanish 2 during their freshman year of high school.
Parents and students should discuss each of the options and choose the best one for your student. Please realize this decision is a yearlong commitment to the option chosen. It is necessary to make the decision at this time so the proper number of courses can be offered and staffing can be appropriated.
Please register for one of the option selections by January 23, 2025. This can be done using the online registration form linked HERE. If you have any questions about what each of the Options are, please visit our Incoming 6th Grade Encore Option Selection website HERE or call the Hill Middle School Guidance Office at 630-428-6207.
