Notes From the Office
I was so happy to see many of our families participating in the Spook-a-thon! Our S.A.D.D. student group does an amazing job every year hosting this event for our students. Thank you to the families who donated supplies for the event, it was greatly appreciated!
Our first marking period of school ended today and student report cards will go home with our students on Friday, November 10th. It has been an amazing start to the year and I am excited to watch our students continue to grow over the coming months!

Food Drive 2023
Each fall, the Primary participates in a food drive with all of the buildings in the district. I am always astonished by the outpouring of support during the food drive. The pantry does great works in the community by serving over 260 families annually.
Each day, Monday - Wednesday, are focused on specific food items. The last two days of the food drive all food items are accepted and we will also send out an update on additional items that may be needed. Thank you for supporting the food drive!

Teaching Kids About Their Bodies
K/1 students are naturally curious and this includes students being curious about their bodies and the bodies of their peers. Unfortunately, on occassion, I have students that expose their private parts to other students. This year in particular, my boys find great humor in exposing their private areas to other students. Yes, our girls do it too, just not to the extent that the boys do.
I am asking parents to talk to their children about keeping their private parts covered at school. I know this is natural for students to be curious, but we need them to understand boundaries and not exposing themselves to others. Additionally, a reminder that they should also not smack each other on the bottom either. Again, they find this humorus, until it isn't.
I have included a link with tips on talking to your child about their bodies.
