Winter Showcase 2024

OVERVIEW

Next Thursday, December 12 and Friday, December 13 is our Winter Showcase!

VERY IMPORTANT: This will NOT be a normal day of classes for students. Please do not drop off your student for school , unless they are performing. All other students must be accompanied by a parent or other trusted adult during the performance and showcase*.

If you have a student performing, it will be at 10am. The performance should be about an hour long on Thursday and 30 minutes on Friday. After the performance, families are invited downstairs for our open house showcase and lunch.

If you do not have a student in the performance, you are welcome to come just for the open house*.

*Please be sure your student picks up their projects at showcase or makes arrangements with their teachers. No projects will be saved after showcase.

THURSDAY PERFORMANCE ARRIVAL/REHEARSAL TIMES:

Kindergarten- Arrive at 9:30am, meet in kindergarten room

Sign Language- Meet at 9:30am in 111H, be in auditorium by 9:45am

Piano 1, Piano 2, Crash Course Piano- Meet in auditorium at 9am

Musical Theatre- Meet in auditorium at 9am

Intro to Drama- Meet in auditorium at 9am

Violin- Meet at 9am in room 111, be in auditorium by 9:45am (see dress code below)

Karate- Meet in the auditorium at 9:30am

FRIDAY PERFORMANCE ARRIVAL/REHEARSAL TIMES:

Kindergarten- Arrive at 9:30am, meet in kindergarten room

Piano 1 & Piano 2- Meet in auditorium at 9am

Violin- Meet at 9am in auditorium (dress code below)

Intro to Drama- Meet in auditorium at 9:30am

Karate- Meet in the auditorium at 9:30am

Performance Schedule:

The doors to our Auditorium will open a few minutes before 10am so everyone can be comfortably seated. Please wait in the lobby until we open the doors for you! The performance will run straight through with no breaks, so we would love everyone to watch the entire show and support all of our students and classes.

Once kindergarten performs, they will be sent to find their families in the audience. All other students who are performing should sit with their class(es) for the entire performance.

Violin Dress Code Request

Thursday students: Our violin students are requested to wear all black clothes and shoes if possible. Long-sleeve shirts with long pants or long skirts are requested. Please wear black tights with the skirt if possible. Female students can wear a long sleeve white shirt if they do not have a black shirt.

Friday students may wear any type of dressy clothes.

Snack

We will be providing a snack during the open house.

Please check out our Lost and Found at Showcase. Anything left after behind after showcase will be donated.
