Great job to those who participated in the TMEA Region Weekend this weekend! We are so proud of y'all!

If you've advanced to the TMEA Pre-Area round, auditions are December 3 at The Woodlands HS! We will take a bus immediately at the end of the school day, and will stop somewhere for food on the way. There will also likely be concessions at TWHS. Congratulations!

Below is the sign-up for our Flag Renewal Doorhanger Fundraiser. We encourage our students who are not usually able to do the flags due to time/vehicle logistics to participate.

Each packet holds approximately 75 flyers, and students will receive 30 scholarship points per packet they distribute. Remember points can go toward voice lessons and spring trip. Points can also be converted to be used for community service hours toward their cord.

Please distribute all flyers by Saturday, December 7, 2024. You will text Naomi to indicate your routes are complete. Completed packets will be credited to your account by December 15th. Students will go to each address on their list and hang a flyer on the door of that home. Students may NOT put the flyers in mailboxes.

• We will begin our Choir WiddyUp fundraiser the week before Thanksgiving break! We are highly encouraging all families to participate. Our goal is for all students to have scholarships for all contest fees, Solo & Ensemble accompanist fees, private voice lessons, field trip bus costs, some meals while on field trips, classroom materials such as updated electronics and sound equipment, music, supplies and more. While we cannot cover the entire spring overnight trip cost, we hope to contribute towards some of the expenses.
• So far this year, we've covered All-State Competition fees, TISD Solo fees, Bella Voce Kemah Ride Pass and bus, All-Region Weekend fees and meals. To participate, all we need are 10 email addresses for family and friends of each family who cannot usually attend your son or daughter's Choir Performances. For a donation, small or large, they receive a "Thank you" video performance. More information will be sent out soon!

Our Thanksgiving Family Feast is coming up on November 21 and all families are welcome! This is a pot luck style meal and we do ask that everyone that comes brings something to share. We hope to see many of you there!

THE CHOIR FAIR SHARE FEE FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR IS $53.75. Payments will be paid through schoolcashonline. This amount will help to cover such items as uniform rental, altering, launder/dry-cleaning, postage for mail-outs, Copies, Folders, Choir T-Shirt, Choir Polo, Choir water thermos, and other necessary items.

Emails will be sent out Monday if you still have not paid your Choir Class Fee.

Please make sure that you are making payments for the Spring Trip if you are traveling with us! The next payment is due November 15th!

Please be aware that students must be academically and attendance eligible to travel on the spring trip.

All schoolcashonline payments will have an additional service charge that does not count toward the payment. For example, the initial deposit is $100, but has a $5 service charge. Also be aware that the initial deposit is non-refundable and monies paid for the rest of the trip cannot be refunded after the December 15th payment, unless you are able to sell your trip for full price.

$25.00 Donation - Booster Supporters will receive slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$50.00 Donation - Silver Supporters will receive two reserved seats to the winter concert and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$100.00 Donation - Navy Supporters will receive four reserved seats to all concerts and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

$250.00 Donation - Wildcatter Supporters will receive four tickets to Pop Show, four reserved seats to all concerts, and slideshow recognition at our concerts.

Section of the Week is back! Each week we select a section in each class that has done an outstanding job throughout the week. At the end of the year, we will add up all of the sections and whoever has won section of the week the most in each class will receive a donut party!

Choir Spirit Student of the Week:

Chorale and The Major Chords member Kira Miller for her work ethic, dedication, and boldness to approach Treble Region Clinician, Dr. Lynne Gackle, about the possibility to perform "Always Keep this Close" last in the concert program. The proposal was accepted resulting in an impactful and emotional performance. Way to go, Kira!!!
