Guest Speaker for Sociology Class
Wayland graduate Riley Miller (Class of 2017) returned to his high school on Tuesday, February 18, to speak to Andrea Brown's Sociology class. He shared insights from his exchange year as a high school junior, discussed how studying Sociology has broadened his worldview and supported his International Relations degree, and reflected on his move to Munich, Germany, three years ago. Students had the opportunity to learn about German culture, hear the language, and engage in a meaningful Q&A during this enriching experience.

Inclusion Week Information
Next week, we’re excited to celebrate Disability Inclusion Week at Wayland Union Schools! It’s a time to recognize the incredible contributions of individuals with disabilities and to highlight the importance of building communities that embrace diversity and inclusion.
Throughout the week, we'll be hosting classroom activities, a spirit week and sharing facts about Special Education services aimed at raising awareness, fostering empathy, and promoting understanding. From inspiring stories of perseverance to educational workshops, we invite everyone—students, staff, families, and community partners—to join us in celebrating differences and championing inclusion.
Let’s work together to ensure that every voice is heard and that every student feels valued. Happy Disability Inclusion Week!
